How to Apply

Print and complete the membership form and return it by mail or email, along with your resume. Actors, please include a headshot. Playwrights should send two pieces, a full-length and a one-act or two one-acts. Please remember to put your name and contact information on your work.

Actors: After reviewing your application we will contact you about coming in to audition. Auditions are held about four times a year. We ask for two contrasting monologues, or a monologue and a song. Work must be memorized. Afterwards, we’ll chat with you about what you’d like to accomplish at TAW, and how you’d like to contribute to the Workshop.

Writers: Along with the application, send us three copies of your scripts (a full-length or two one-acts), or one file of each as an e-mail attachment to membership@taworkshop.org. Remember to include your name and contact information of the front page of your scripts. We’ll contact you if we need additional info, references or samples.

Directors: Fill out the application, include your resume, and we’ll give you a call if we’d like additional information or would like to meet with you.

Prospective members may be allowed to visit and observe one of our Monday evening workshops by invitation of a current member, and/or with permission of the Board.
